Was ist ein Yak und was ist Yakwolle?<\/h1>\n

Yakwolle<\/p><\/div>\n

Yakwolle ist sehr hochwertige und seltene Wolle, die vom Yak stammt und in der Bettwarenproduktion wegen ihrer verschiedenen Eigenschaften sehr beliebt ist.<\/p>\n

Die Tiere z\u00e4hlen zu den Rinderarten und kommen vorwiegend in Tibet, Nepal und China vor. Yaks gelten seit 1996<\/strong> laut IUCN als bedrohte Tierart.<\/p>\n

Feinwolle und Grobwolle<\/h2>\n

Das Haarkleid eines Yaks besteht aus der \u00e4u\u00dferen Grobwolle<\/strong> und der unteren Feinwolle<\/strong>. Die Grobwolle wird vorwiegend f\u00fcr die Herstellung von Seilen und Planen verwendet, da sie sehr robust und wetterfest<\/strong> ist.<\/p>\n

Die Feinwolle hingegen ist sehr weich, dicht und hat hervorragende w\u00e4rmeisolierende<\/strong> Eigenschaften. Aus diesem Grund wird die Feinwolle vorwiegend zur Herstellung von Bettdecken und -kissen verwendet. Aber auch f\u00fcr Seile, Beutel, Zelte, Outdoor- Pullis, Jacken und Ponchos findet die Yakwolle Verwendung.<\/p>\n

Von Natur aus ist die Yakwolle braun<\/strong>, rot<\/strong>, schwarz<\/strong> oder wei\u00df<\/strong> aufzufinden.<\/p>\n

Gewinnung von Yakwolle<\/h2>\n

Yakwolle wird auf zwei Arten gewonnen: Die Yaks werden entweder geschoren<\/strong> oder gek\u00e4mmt<\/strong>. Besonders im Fr\u00fchling verlieren Yaks viel von ihrem Unterfell, deshalb k\u00e4mmen die Bauern sie, um keine Feinwolle zu verschwenden. Im sp\u00e4ten Fr\u00fchjahr oder fr\u00fchen Sommer werden sie dann geschoren und ihre Wolle wird weiter verarbeitet.<\/p>\n

Ein Schaf gibt circa zehn Mal mehr Wolle pro Jahr als ein Yak. Durch diese geringe Ausbeute ist Yakwolle verh\u00e4ltnism\u00e4\u00dfig teuer. Allerdings werden Yaks nicht wegen ihrer Wolle<\/a> gehalten. Diese ist nur ein Nebenprodukt. Vorwiegend geht es bei der Yakzucht um Fleisch und Milch.<\/p>\n

Schutz und Pflege von Yakwolle<\/h2>\n

Yakwolle sollte grunds\u00e4tzlich in warmen<\/strong> Wasser gewaschen und nicht l\u00e4nger als n\u00f6tig eingeweicht werden. Man sollte die Yak-Wolle mit klarem<\/strong> Wasser absp\u00fclen und anschlie\u00dfend vorsichtig ausdr\u00fccken und in ein Handtuch einrollen und zum Trockner auslegen.<\/p>\n

Waschen sollte man die Textilien aus Yakwolle in der Waschmaschine nicht \u00fcber 30 Grad bei niedriger Drehzahl. Zu beachten ist auch, dass die Yak-Wolle beim Waschen auf links<\/strong> zu drehen ist.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
