Was ist Vulkanisation?<\/h1>\n

Vulkanisation<\/p><\/div>\n

Vulkanisation<\/strong> bezeichnet ein Verfahren, bei dem Kautschuk<\/a> (Latex) mit Druck und Hitze widerstandsf\u00e4hig gemacht wird. Vor der Entdeckung der Vulkanisation durch den Amerikaner Charles Goodyear hielten Kautschuk- bzw. Latexprodukte Wetterbedingungen oft nicht stand. Sie wurden por\u00f6s oder verklebten. Durch dieses Verfahren aus dem Jahr 1839 wurde Kautschuk wetterbest\u00e4ndig <\/strong>und zu einem der am meisten genutzten Rohstoffe der Welt. Heute wird vulkanisierter Kautschuk f\u00fcr Autoreifen, Schl\u00e4uche und auch Latexmatratzen<\/a> verwendet.<\/p>\n

Heutzutage verwendet man Vulkanisation f\u00fcr alle Verfahren, durch die Kautschuk, Gummi aus dem Zustand vorwiegender Plastizit\u00e4t in einen Zustand gebracht wird, der eine h\u00f6here Plastizit\u00e4t aufweist.<\/p>\n

Verfahren der Vulkanisation<\/h2>\n

Ziel ist es durch den Vorgang von Vulkanisieren Gummi zu erhalten. Bei der Vulkanisation wird Kautschuk mit Schwefel<\/strong> und einigen anderen Stoffen vermengt und erhitzt. Die Temperaturen liegen bei 120\u00b0C bis 160\u00b0C<\/strong> wobei die langkettigen Kautschukmolek\u00fcle durch den Schwefel verbunden werden. Das Verh\u00e4ltnis w\u00e4hrend der Vulkanisation Schwefel zu Kautschuk betr\u00e4gt in etwa 2% \/ 98%. Der Schwefelanteil ist also vergleichsweise gering. Diese Verbindung mit Schwefel (Schwefelbr\u00fccken genannt) erm\u00f6glicht einen \u00dcbergang des Kautschuks vom plastischen (wetterunbest\u00e4ndigen) in den elastischen (wetterbest\u00e4ndigen) Zustand.<\/p>\n

Das Ergebnis ist Gummi. – Dieser ist:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • elastischer,<\/li>\n
  • rei\u00dffester,<\/li>\n
  • dehnbarer und<\/li>\n
  • wetterunabh\u00e4ngiger als unbehandelter Kautschuk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Je mehr Schwefelbr\u00fccken der Gummi enth\u00e4lt, desto h\u00e4rter ist er. Die Anzahl dieser Br\u00fccken ist von der Dauer der Vulkanisation und der zugegebenen Menge Schwefel abh\u00e4ngig.<\/p>\n

    Neben den chemischen F\u00fcll- und Reaktionsstoffen werden auch Ger\u00e4te, Maschinen zum Erhitzen des Kautschuks, bzw. Gummis ben\u00f6tigt:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Vulkanisierkessel<\/strong>: Diesen verwendet man zum Vulkanisieren von Schl\u00e4uchen, Platten, Spritzartikeln, Schuhteilen und Reifen. Es gibt sie in vertikaler und horizontaler Ausf\u00fchrung. Der sogenannte Autoklav ist ein klassischer Vulkanisierkessel.<\/li>\n
    • Vulkanisierpressen<\/strong>: Sie werden zum Erhitzen von reifen, Platten, Transportb\u00e4ndern und technischen Gummiwaren verwendet. F\u00fcr das Wunschergebnis muss die Presse mit dem jeweiligen Artikel angepasst werden. Es gibt mehrere Arten von Vulkanisierpressen. Es gibt einmal die Etagenpresse<\/strong> f\u00fcr technische Formartikel, Platten und es gibt die Spezialpresse<\/strong> f\u00fcr Riemen und Transportb\u00e4nder etc. Bei den \u00fcblichen Vulkanisierpressen<\/strong> vulkanisiert man die Produkte immer in Rahmen, Blechen oder in Formen. H\u00e4ufig verwendet wird die Etagenpresse, da mit ihr mehrere Formen und Platten gleichzeitig erhitzt werden k\u00f6nnen, die \u00fcbereinander liegen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
