Diese spezielle Baumwolle gilt aufgrund ihrer langen Wollf\u00e4den von \u00fcber 32 mm und <strong>rei\u00dffesten Eigenschaften<\/strong> als die hochwertigste Baumwolle der Welt. Dabei macht Mako-Baumwolle nur 1% der weltweiten Baumwoll-Produktion aus.<\/p>\n<p>Der \u00e4gyptische Adelige Mako el-Orfali entdeckte im <strong>19. Jahrhundert<\/strong> verwilderte Baumwollpflanzen in seinem Garten und entdeckte bei genauerer Untersuchung deren <strong>hohe Qualit\u00e4t<\/strong>, woraufhin die Baumwolle verarbeitet und verbreitet wurde. Nach ihm wurde die Baumwollart benannt. Mohammad Ali Pasha, der \u00c4gypten zur Unabh\u00e4ngigkeit vom osmanischen Reich f\u00fchrte, lie\u00df diese Baumwollart im gro\u00dfen Stil anbauen und sie wurde zum wirtschaftlichen Symbol \u00c4gyptens und f\u00fcr ein <strong>Sinnbild von Reichtum und Luxus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Heute gibt es gez\u00fcchtete Mako-Baumwolle mit einer Faserl\u00e4nge von \u00fcber 50 mm. Den Eigenschaften der langen Fasern ist es zu verdanken, dass sie zu einem <strong>extrem feinen und festen Stoff<\/strong> verwebt werden kann. Mako-Baumwolle steht auch heute noch f\u00fcr h\u00f6chste Qualit\u00e4t. Der seltene Rohstoff und die aufwendige Verarbeitung machen Heimtextilien aus Mako-Satin zu einem wundersch\u00f6nen <strong>Luxus-Objekt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Um Baumwolle in Atlasbindung herzustellen, muss sie zun\u00e4chst gek\u00e4mmt und von Fremdk\u00f6rpern gereinigt werden, bevor sie durch Spinnen zu Garn verarbeitet wird. <strong>Veredelt<\/strong> wird das Garn mit einem Bad aus Natronlauge, was die Eigenschaften der Baumwolle noch verbessert. Diesen Vorgang nennt man <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wohnen-shop.at\/lexikon\/mercerisieren\/\"><strong>Merzerisation<\/strong><\/a>, eine andere Schreibweise ist Mercerisation. Am Ende ist das Garn der Baumwolle <strong>seidiger, fester und besser f\u00e4rbbar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Mako-Baumwolle wird dann zu Mako-Satin, indem die Wolle in der sogenannten Atlasbindung gewebt wird. Dies bedeutet, dass der Schussfaden zuerst unter dem Kettfaden durchgef\u00fchrt wird, um dann \u00fcber zwei bis drei Kettf\u00e4den gelegt zu werden. So entsteht die gl\u00e4nzende Seite, die man beinahe mit <a title=\"Welche Eigenschaften hat Seide?\" href=\"\/lexikon\/seide\/\">Seide<\/a> vergleichen k\u00f6nnte. Mako-Satin kann, zur Bettw\u00e4sche verarbeitet, <strong>das ganze Jahr \u00fcber<\/strong> verwendet werden, da der Stoff sowohl f\u00fcr Winter wie auch Sommer bestens geeignet ist.<\/p>\n<h2>Wie w\u00e4scht man Mako-Satin Bettw\u00e4sche?<\/h2>\n<p>Mako-Satin ist <strong>feuchtigkeitsregulierend, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wohnen-shop.at\/lexikon\/atmungsaktivitaet\/\">atmungsaktiv<\/a> und hautfreundlich<\/strong>, da das Material aus 100% Baumwolle besteht, und so auch relativ pflegeleicht. Wegen dieser Qualit\u00e4ten wird Mako-Satin gerne f\u00fcr Bettwaren verwendet. Nat\u00fcrlich ist der Stoff <strong>waschbar<\/strong>, durch einen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wohnen-shop.at\/lexikon\/reissverschluss\/\">Rei\u00dfverschluss<\/a> oder Kn\u00f6pfe l\u00e4sst sich der Bezug einfach auf- und abziehen.<\/p>\n<p>Wenn nicht anders angegeben, kann Bettw\u00e4sche aus Mako-Satin bei einer Temperatur von h\u00f6chstens<strong> 60 \u00b0C<\/strong> gewaschen werden. Ein Schonwaschgang bei 40 \u00b0C ist allerdings sanfter und damit besser geeignet, soweit der Stoff nicht extrem verschmutzt ist. Sehr gut geeignet sind <strong>Fl\u00fcssigwaschmittel<\/strong> auf nat\u00fcrlicher Basis.<\/p>\n<p>Die Schleuderzahl von 800 Umdrehungen\/Minute sollte nicht \u00fcberschritten werden, damit der Artikel aus dem <strong>luxuri\u00f6sen Material<\/strong> keinen Schaden nimmt. Der Stoff ist <strong>trocknergeeignet<\/strong>. Flecken auf dem Textil behandeln Sie am besten mit einem milden Fleckenentferner oder Kernseife.
