Korpus<\/p><\/div>\n

Korpus stammt vom lateinischen Wort Corpus, was K\u00f6rper bedeutet. Als Korpus bezeichnet man die tragende Grundkonstruktion<\/strong> eines Bettes<\/a> oder Schrankes<\/a> bzw. Schrankm\u00f6bels<\/a>. Dies umfasst die Vorder- und R\u00fcckwand sowie die Seitenteile, also die L\u00e4ngsseiten des Grundgestells.<\/p>\n

Wenn man vom Korpus eines Lattenrostes spricht, nennt man das einen Holm.<\/p>\n

Was ist ein Holm beim Lattenrost?<\/h2>\n

Was der Korpus beim Bett ist, das ist der Holm beim Lattenrost<\/a>. Er bildet den Rahmen f\u00fcr die Latten, die dann f\u00fcr die Federung sorgen. Diese Latten k\u00f6nnen entweder innenliegend<\/a> sein oder holm\u00fcberdeckend. Innenliegend bedeutet, dass die Latten innerhalb des Lattenrost-Holmes abschlie\u00dfen, holm\u00fcberdeckend<\/a> meint, dass die Latten \u00fcber den Holm hinausragen. Ragen die Latten \u00fcber den Lattenrost-Holm hinaus, so ist eine bessere Federung m\u00f6glich.<\/p>\n

Korpus ist nicht gleich Korpus<\/h2>\n

Ein Korpus kann schlicht gehalten oder aber auch aufw\u00e4ndig gestaltet sein und aus den unterschiedlichsten Materialien<\/strong> bestehen. G\u00e4ngig sind zum Beispiel Betten mit einem Holzkorpus. Gerade in letzter Zeit jedoch erfreuen sich Boxspringbetten<\/a> besonders gro\u00dfer Beliebtheit. Ihr Korpus ist mit Stoff bezogen und bietet daher vielf\u00e4ltige Gestaltungsm\u00f6glichkeiten<\/strong>. Das Weingartner Boxspringbett Marceglia beispielsweise besitzt neben einem stoffbezogenen Korpus auch ein stilvoll abgestepptes Kopfteil.<\/p>\n

Korpus \u2013 aus welchen Materialien kann er bestehen?<\/h2>\n

Ein Korpus aus Massivholz<\/a> kann vor allem durch sein schlichtes, einfaches Design und seine klaren Formen \u00fcberzeugen. Zudem eignet sich dieser besonders f\u00fcr Allergiker<\/strong>, da Massivholz antibakterielle<\/strong> und antistatische Eigenschaften<\/strong> besitzt. Wer auf dauerhafte Stabilit\u00e4t<\/strong> und Sicherheit setzt, der ist mit einem Korpus aus Massivholz richtig beraten. Zu Massivholz geh\u00f6ren Arten wie Eichenholz<\/a>, Kernbuche<\/a> oder Kiefer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Betten mit einem Korpus aus Metall werden aus Eisen<\/a> oder Metall<\/a> gefertigt, haben oft eine h\u00f6here Lebensdauer als Holz- oder Boxspringbetten und besitzen zudem den Vorzug, sehr pflegeleicht<\/strong> und unempfindlich<\/strong> zu sein. Zudem ist es in verschiedenen Varianten<\/strong> erh\u00e4ltlich und durch Schn\u00f6rkeln oder Formen verziert. Ebenso wie ein Korpus aus Massivholz bietet ein Korpus aus Metall enorme Stabilit\u00e4t, l\u00e4sst sich aber anders als Massivholzbetten<\/a> einfacher in seine Einzelteile zerlegen und eignet sich daher hervorragend f\u00fcr den Transport.<\/p>\n

Bei einem Polsterbett<\/a> besteht der Korpus meist aus einfachem Holz<\/strong>, der mit einem Polster<\/strong> und Bezugsstoff<\/strong> ummantelt ist. Der Bezugsstoff kann aus unterschiedlichen Materialien wie Kunstleder, Polyester<\/a>, Baumwolle<\/a> oder einem Gemisch aus Baumwolle und Polyester bestehen und ist in den unterschiedlichsten Varianten und Ausf\u00fchrungen erh\u00e4ltlich.
