Was ist Filz?<\/h1>\n

Filz<\/p><\/div>\n

Filz<\/strong> ist ein Vliesstoff, welcher aus Wolle<\/strong> und \/ oder anderen textilen Fasern besteht. Die Rohwolle, wird durch eine mechanische Bearbeitung, wie Filzen und Walken in einen festen Stoff gebracht, welcher miteinander unterordnet verschlungen, aber schwer trennbar ist. Es handelt sich also um ein nicht gewebtes Textil<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Der klassische Filz besteht aus Schafwolle<\/a>, wozu sich viele verschiedene Filze dazu mischen lassen. Dazu geh\u00f6ren andere Tierhaare, Baumwolle<\/a>, Hanf<\/a>, Kokos, Sisal<\/a> und weitere Fasern. Unteranderem werden Kunstfaser, wie Polyester<\/a>, Polyacryl und Polyamid<\/a> in der industriellen Fertigung verwendet.<\/p>\n

Wie wird Filz hergestellt?<\/h2>\n

Bei dem Filz unterscheidet man zwischen zwei Arten. Dem Walkfilz<\/strong> und dem Nadelfilz<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

  • Der gewalkene Filz (man spricht auch vom echten Filz oder Wollfilz) besteht nur aus Tierhaaren, bzw. aus Wollfasern. Die Wollfasern werden beim Walkfilz durch W\u00e4rme, Druck, Feuchtigkeit und kreisende, bzw. r\u00fcttelnde Bewegungen miteinander gefestigt.<\/li>\n
  • Beim Nadelfilz hingegen k\u00f6nnen nat\u00fcrliche oder synthetische Fasern verwendet werden. Bei der Herstellung werden Maschinen mit Hakennadeln verwendet, die in die Fasern einstechen und dadurch miteinander verwirren.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Welche Eigenschaften besitzt Filz?<\/h2>\n

    Die Eigenschaften des Filzes h\u00e4ngen vom Ausgangsmaterial ab. Filz, welcher mit Wolle gefertigt wurde, isoliert und w\u00e4rmt<\/strong>, selbst wenn er in einem nassen oder feuchten Zustand ist. Ebenfalls ist er sehr gut vertr\u00e4glich<\/strong>, bzw. hautfreundlich, knitterfrei, elastisch und luftdurchl\u00e4ssig. Eine besondere Eigenschaft ist die Entflammbarkeit des Filzes, was allerdings nicht f\u00fcr Kunstfasern z\u00e4hlt. Trotzdem weisen auch Kunstfasern sehr gute Eigenschaften auf. Kunstfaser-Filz ist sehr strapazierf\u00e4hig, leicht, farbenintensiv und dazu noch sehr formbar.<\/p>\n

    Wozu wird Filz verwendet?<\/h2>\n

    Filz wird vielseitig hergestellt f\u00fcr Bekleidung<\/strong>, wie Jacken, M\u00e4ntel, R\u00f6cke, Pantoffeln etc. und Accessoires<\/strong>, wie H\u00fcte, Taschen etc. Doch auch f\u00fcr die Technik wird Filz viel und h\u00e4ufig verwendet f\u00fcr Dichtungen, wie Filzringe oder Filzstreifen oder f\u00fcr Klaviere und Musikinstrumente.<\/p>\n

    Wie kann man Filz reinigen?<\/h2>\n

    Reinigen sollte man den Filz mit einem r\u00fcckfettenden Fleckenwasser und einem Schwamm, alternativ kann man ihn auch chemisch reinigen. Filz sollte immer langsam an der Luft getrocknet werden und dabei an einem sauberen Ort glatt aufliegen.
